During Amazon's Prime Day, the Ego 56V 15-Inch String Trimmer, a top-rated tool, sells for just $132.99. A 34% drop from its usual $199.99 price, reported by BobVila and Popular Science, makes premium lawn care equipment accessible. High-quality outdoor power tools are typically a significant investment, but Prime Day discounts challenge these pricing expectations. This creates a time-sensitive opportunity for consumers to acquire premium equipment at a fraction of the cost, likely driving upgrades to high-performance, battery-powered alternatives.
More Trimmer and Edger Deals

- The WORX 20V 10″ Trimmer/Edger Kit is available for $46.19, down from $89.99.
These additional deals offer accessible options for various budgets, making quality lawn care tools affordable for more users. Such price points enable a broader transition to cordless electric tools. Deep discounts on these entry-level and mid-range trimmers indicate a strategic push by manufacturers to capture market share and accelerate battery-powered equipment adoption. Prime Day is effectively lowering the barrier to entry for consumers, accelerating the shift away from gas-powered alternatives.
EGO Power+ Ecosystem Savings
Prime Day savings extend to other EGO Power+ equipment. The EGO Power+ 530 CFM Cordless Leaf Blower is $139.99, down from $199.99. The EGO Power+ 21" Self-Propelled Mower is $579.99, reduced from $769. These widespread discounts on EGO's broader product line allow consumers to build or expand a powerful, comprehensive cordless outdoor tool collection, fostering brand loyalty. Consistent pricing across multiple EGO tools shows a coordinated effort to make a full ecosystem of high-end cordless equipment attainable, not just isolated deals. The perceived cost barrier for high-performance cordless tools is temporarily shattered, making top-rated battery-powered options competitive with, or even cheaper than, some lower-tier alternatives.
